Through her childhood she only ever wanted one thing to become a ranger just like her parents, as a child she started to pick up the techniques and her father had high hopes for her once she learned to be more disciplined and less head strong.
This life of course could not last long as the scourge began their invasion she begged her parents for a chance to prove that she was disciplined enough to join them and fight, her parents flat out refused and told her to go to safety and that her day would come. That was the last she ever saw of her parents like many others her parents were killed and she became orphaned. Luckily her uncle was willing to take her in and gave her a place to live until finally she was old enough to begin as a novice farstrider, but she was rejected, for her lack of discipline had not improved since the death of her parents, feeling rejected she would wander the farstrider square no longer having a sense of purpose. Her uncle finally deciding enough was enough sent her off to falconwing square to buy new wares for him to sell, it was on one such trading mission that she encountered a jeweller who was not what she seemed this became a turning point in her life she began working to “Acquire” valuable jewellery from the wretched reasoning that they no longer cared for such things it was at this time she began going by the name of Sunshadow. After a while she began to think that being a treasure hunter was all well and good but it did nothing to honour her parents and all that they stood for she needed to find another way to defend the lands she calls home and to honour her parents and all they stood for.

I heard of the guild from a short IC chat I had with one of the members in the inn.

I hope to Improve my RP skills as although I have done RP I’m not what you would call experienced, I also want to gain some friends that I can enjoy the game with.

I like it rly. Only problem I find is the name. Do you happen to have another IC name like the name her parents gave her before she took on "sunshadow" ?

Sunshadow in Elven is "Shaali"

Atleast, that should be the case in 'elven' and not 'Thalassian' but still. ^^ As far as I know: there are no real thalassian word known for shadow, but atleast for sun: Belore.

On the contrary, 'shadow' and 'sun' are completely different.
But it could be used, perhaps. Shaali seems quite a nice name.
Perhaps Sunshadow could be taken on as an alternate name, like a last name?

That's what I'm asking. Sunshadow could work as last name or alias or whatever.

Sunshadow is the characters alias her birth name i was going to use is Elleria Sunsorrow, Elleria being a slight referance to Alleria Windrunner.

Fair enough. Still, due to rules: I will need a more proper name above a character's head I'm afraid. I can't let people in who use two or three words put together (unless, of course, it'd be in Thalassian / another elven language).

Hmm well i dont really want to pay to rename and i dont want to have to make a new character either.
